De Deense Claas dealer ‘Vindmask’ met 2 locaties en 40 mensen in dienst. Heeft begin vorig jaar een mooie deal gesloten met de bedrijven Salling Seeds en Torsmark Potatoes. De deal ging over de aanschaf van 6 nieuwe machines: 1 Scorpion 7035, 1 Arion 550 Hexa, 1 Arion 650 Hexa , 1 Arion 650 CMATIC, 1 Axion 830 Hexa en een Axion 810 CMATIC met draaibare stoel.
The Danish Claas dealer ‘Vindmask’, located on two locations with in total 40 employees, has closed a good deal last year with companies Salling Seeds and Torsmark Potatoes. The deal involved the purchase of six new machines: 1 Scorpion7035, one Arion 550 Hexa, one Arion 650, one Arion 650 CMATIC, one Axion 830 Hexa and one Axion 810 CMATIC with swivel seat.
Zelf ontworpen en gebouwd.
In het voorjaar van 2015 zijn de machines geleverd, waaronder de Axion 810 met Cmatic met een draaibare stoel. De draaibare stoel hebben 2 medewerkers van Vindmask ontworpen en gebouwd. De draaibare stoel was een voorwaarde voor de complete verkoopdeal, aangezien Claas zelf geen ontwerp daarvan heeft, zijn ze zelf aan het ontwerpen gegaan. Nadat de medewerkers van Vindmask met de klant en toekomstige bestuurder om de tafel hebben gezeten, hebben ze een plan gemaakt met een ontwerp en de werking van het systeem. Om tot een goede uitvoering te komen, hadden ze een complete cabine tot hun beschikking, en konden zo alles perfect bouwen, zo is er een uitbouw aan de achterkant van de cabine gemaakt, om zo voldoende voet- en beenruimte te krijgen voor de pedalen.
Custom design and manufacturing.
In spring 2015, the machines have been delivered, including the Axion 810 Cmatic with a swivel seat. The swivel seat was designed and built by two employees of Vindmask. The swivel chair was a prerequisite for the complete sales deal, since Claas itself does not have these seats in the portfolio. Claas dealer Vindmask proceeded to design this configuration by itself. Several meetings took placed between Vindmask, the purchasing customers and the end-users. Together they made a plan with for the design and field operation of the swivel seat system. To achieve a satisfactory performance, the design team had the benefit of having a complete cabin at their disposal. This cabin enabled them to build everything to perfection. The team created an extension to the rear of the cabin, in order to get enough foot and leg space for the control pedals
Het aanpassen van de cabine en elektronica.
Vervolgens zijn ze begonnen met het elektrische systeem, waarbij een relais wordt gebruikt die schakelt tussen de “gewone” pedalen, en de nieuwe pedalen aan de achterkant. Het stuur en de rechter armsteun zijn aangepast, voor meer ruimte waardoor de stoel makkelijk rond kan draaien in de cabine. De originele stoel is op een draaiplateau op geleiders geplaatst, die vervolgens op de bodem is gemonteerd. Hierdoor kan de stoel 360 graden draaien, en naar voren en achteren schuiven, ook de linker armsteun is aangepast daar is een joystick op gebouwd, voor het besturen van de vooras. Tevens zijn de interieurpanelen aangepast, om meer ruimte te creëren.
Customizing cabin and electronics.
After the manufacturing of the extended cabin the design and production team started with the electronic system. This system incorporates a relay is to switch between the ‘conventional’ pedals and new pedals in the reverse riving direction located at the rear of the cabin. The steering wheel and the right armrest were adjusted for more space. This guarantees the swivel chair to rotate easily and comfortable in the cabin. The original chair was placed on a rotating platform on guides, which are subsequently mounted on the bottom of the cabin. This design allows the seat rotate 360 degrees around its centre axle and slide forward and backward. Besides this the left armrest is adjusted. The armrest now has a joystick built-in to control the front axle. Also, the interior panels were modified to create more living space inside the cabin.
Er zijn 3 stuurmogelijkheden:
Handmatig besturen met de joystick wanneer het systeem ingeschakeld is of uitgeschakeld van het zelfsturende systeem, daarbij moeten de wielen in een bepaalde positie staan. Ook kan de Axion zelf sturen door de overname van het Claas S10 gps systeem, en werkt in beide zitposities, wanneer de bestuurder de joystick bedient, wordt het systeem onderbroken.
There are three control options:
Manual control by using the joystick. When the self steering system is turned on or off the wheels must be placed in a certain position. By itself the Axion can steer through the mounting of the Claas S10 GPS system. This GPS auto-steering module works in both seating positions. As soon as the driver operates the joystick the system is interrupted.
Veiligheid en camera’s.
Veiligheid is ook belangrijk, en daarom zijn er 3 sensoren die de positie van de stoel registreren, en de stoel wordt voor middel elektronische vergrendeling vastgezet. Op de voorkant zijn 2 camera’s gemonteerd die de bestuurder helpen om het overzicht te houden wat er gebeurt voor de trekker.
Security and camera’s.
Safety is an important feature and therefore three sensors that record the position of the chair were added as fail safe device. The position of the swivel chair is fixed through electronic interlocking during use of the macine. On the front side of the tractor two cameras are mounted to support the driver in keeping track what happens in front of the tractor.
Handleiding en keuring.
De handleiding is ook aangepast, en hierin staat duidelijk beschreven wat de functies, werking en gevaren van het ingebouwde systemen zijn. Doordat er verschillende aanpassingen zijn gedaan aan de Claas Axion, moest in Denemarken de Axion opnieuw gekeurd worden.
Begin april 2015 is de trekker in gebruik genomen, en heeft ondertussen zo’n 850 draaiuren. Ongeveer 400 uur heeft hij voor een Grimme steensorteerder gestaan, soms 24 uur per dag! De laatste tijd heeft hij zo’n 250 uur voor een aardappelrooier gelopen, en heeft tussendoor nog allerlei andere werkzaamheden verricht tijdens het oogsten. De Claas Axion is de opvolger van een Valtra, die ook een draaisysteem had.De keuze voor een draaibare stoel is tot stand gekomen zodat de bestuurder zich beter kan concentreren op de bediening van de machine, terwijl de trekker zelf de juiste richting opstuurt. Je zit immers vele uren aaneengesloten op het veld.
Operation manual and licensing.
The operation manual is updated. The new manual now clearly describes the functions, operations and hazards of the integrated new systems. Because several changes were made to the original design of the Claas Axion, the tractor had to be re-evaluated by the authorities to obtain a license for legal use in Denmark.
The tractor is in use since early April 2015, and meanwhile it has about 850 operating hours. Approximately 400 hours the machine was combined with a Grimme stone sorter, occasionally operating 24 hours a day! More recent the tractor has been running for about 250 hours in combination with a potato harvester, and between the duties the machine carries out various other activities during harvesting. The Claas Axion is the successor of the Valtra models, which also had a rotating chair system. The choice for a swivel chair has been indicated to enable the driver to concentrate better on the operation of the machine, while the tractor itself is driven to the correct direction. Field operation requires many consecutive hours of uninterrupted use.
